Indochinite is a unique glassy mineral that are formed from the process of Meteorites impacting the earth throwing particles of silica and trace metals into the atmosphere these droplets then rain back to the earth cooling in the process to form these unique shapes.  

These particular tektites a result of the Australasian impact which scattered these minerals throughout southeast Asia and Australia.
