Description
The Seymchan meteorite was found in June 1967 in a dry river bed in the Magadan district Russia. The two primary masses weighed approximately 300kg and 51kg.
Originally classified as IIE iron the finding of olivine crystals in fresh material In 2007 caused it to be reclassified as pallasite.
