Long Tailed weasel skull

The longtailed weasel, Mustela frenata is a small mustelid species weighing just 200g, this species is distributed throughout much of the Americas from Canada south through USA and Mexico into the Northern regions of South America.  This Weasel like all members of the mustelid family are ferocious fearless hunters taking on prey many times their size, prey of choice are Rodents with birds reptiles and bats also forming part of their diet.
