Edmontosaurus was a very large hadrosaurid genus some species reached lengths of up to 12-15m and weights of up to 9 tonnes.

These large herbivorous dinosaurs were thought to live in large herds, this was deduced from fossil evidence found in their former distribution of Western North America, where they lived alongside Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus during the Cretaceous period.
